FLAG Overview

The FLAG program was originally developed by nursing faculty at the University of Minnesota Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence to help nurse and interprofessional educators infuse the latest geriatric content into their curricula, learn new ways of engaging with geriatric content in the classroom, and to brainstorm, through mentoring and networking sessions, ways to take a leadership role by bringing change to the nursing program at one’s home institution.

FLAG Program Details

FLAG is a two-day, in-person program offered in multiple locations throughout the country for 2014-2015. It teaches faculty how to access geriatric nursing teaching resources and how to engage a network of geriatric nursing experts.
