FLAG Overview

The Facilitated Learning to Advance Geriatrics (FLAG) program is a nationally recognized faculty development experiential workshop designed for nurse educators in prelicensure programs.

FLAG is a two-day, in-person program offered in multiple locations throughout the country for 2015. It teaches faculty how to access geriatric nursing teaching resources and how to engage a network of geriatric nursing experts.

Cost/Continuing Nursing Education

The University of Minnesota School of Nursing will award approximately 16 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accredited contact hours for the FLAG Institute. The University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Office of Practice, Partnerships, and Professional Development, is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA).
